Happy Spring! The spring flowers are blooming a little early this year, enjoy them while they last.

A huge THANK YOU to Amy Brisson and her village of volunteers that made the “Enrichment Program” a big success this year. It took a strong leader, a village of people and many hours preparing for this years event. Our hats off to all that made it happen!

Thank you to Peggy Link for organizing Bingo night. As Peggy moves on from Elden we want to thank her for her years of service to the Elden PTA. It is dedicated parents like her that keep us going.

A few reminders for April: April 3rd – Coffee cake sale starts April 6th - No School April 9th- April 13th - Spring Break (Return to school on Monday April 16th) April 17th, 18th and 19th - ELA Assessments – Grades 3-5 (Get a good night sleep and have a good breakfast) April 25th, 26th and 27th Math Assessments – Grades 3-5 (Get a good night sleep and have a good breakfast) Donuts for Dudes – May 10th

The Elden PTA would like to put a call out for some help, next year we will need a secretary to take notes at our meetings, this task will take minimal time to complete. Another position we absolutely need to fill is for our newsletter, are you good with organizing and imputing information. If either of these positions is something that you would be interested in please contact me as soon as possible. At our April meeting we will have a list of other open positions for next year’s PTA.

The Next PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday April 17, 2012 ( free child care is always provided) We hope you all safe and happy Spring Break with your families. HAPPY EASTER to you all.
